The Climate Commission has identified 5 priority areas on which the sector must focus to ensure there are clear and feasible pathways to achieving greenhouse gas emissions targets to tackle the climate crisis. We are hosting Evidence Gathering Events to seek expert advice on these topics. We will use this advice to inform our outputs and action plan. Priority areas include:
- Mobilising the Further and Higher education voice for impact and influence
- Research and Innovation
- Measuring and Reporting Scope 1, 2 and 3 Emissions
- Deep Adaptation
- Education and Student Experience
This event will be hosted after all Evidence Gathering Events to discuss the Climate Commission's progress with governors and chairs from UK colleges and universities.
