The University of the West of England (UWE) have developed ‘Our Green City: Global Challenges, Bristol Solutions’, a free, six week online course.
This course will provide an overview of the current environmental and social challenges faced by cities across the world and the solutions being found to these.
It will guide learners through the key themes of food, transport, nature, resources and energy. In addition it is celebration of grassroots innovation in Bristol's year as the European Green Capital 2015.
Our Green City is funded by Bristol 2015, Bristol City Council and The Department for Energy and Climate Change.
Enrolment for the course is now open and it will commence on 14 September 2015. It will also run again in January 2016. For more information please visit their website: tiny.cc/ourgreencity.
We have partnered with UWE and the University of Bristol for the Green Gowns Award Ceremony in November of this year. UWE are also the hosts for our 20th Annual Conference on 25-27 May 2016.
