EAUC stands in solidarity with every Muslim, migrant, person of colour and community affected by the violent attacks that have taken place in the UK over the past week.
We condemn these attacks as acts of racism and Islamophobia. They have no place in our society.
EAUC – as an employer, network convenor, community and charity - is committed to social and environmental justice. We recognise our role in calling out such blatant acts of racism and their roots in our deeply unequal system.
We take strength from the communities who, in the face of hatred, have shown unity, compassion and protection for their neighbours.
Through our activities and network organisations in the post-16 education sector, we restate our commitment to building and contributing to safe and inclusive communities where everyone can learn, thrive and work towards a sustainable future together.
