Last year, almost half of all HEIs in England worked with Salix on energy efficiency projects in the last financial year, resulting in the completion of projects utilising over £20m from Salix managed programmes. As well as impressive carbon emissions savings, these projects will see annual energy bill savings of £4m annually and £63m over the lifetime of the projects.
Salix are pleased to announce the launch of a further round of interest-free funding for HEIs in England, with applications being accepted until 27th October.
The funding is available for over 120 energy-efficiency technologies and Salix is able to support programmes of work spanning multiple years.
To learn more about this funding, please follow the link to the application page, and if you require any assistance please do not hesitate to contact a member of the HEI team who will be happy to help with any questions you may have.
Projects will be assessed and funding allocated based on value for money both in terms of financial payback on funding requested and estimated carbon savings.
Salix will be launching a further round of funding later this year, HEIs who intend to apply for future rounds are encouraged to register their interest by submitting an ‘Expression of Interest’ form.
