In 2016, the 10th annual International Sustainable Campus Network Conference will be hosted by the University of Siena in Italy, from the 13th-15th of June, and will focus on leadership for a sustainable future.
The conference will explore topics including:
• Managing a changing planet
• Managing societal change
• University-Private sector collaborations for a sustainable future
• Food sustainability at the micro and macro level
• Higher education’s contribution to actionable Sustainable Development Goals
The ISCN includes members and affiliates from all over the world and its Working Group Co-Chairs are looking for cutting-edge contributions relevant to their respective Working Group agenda.
Abstracts should relate to the following themes:
• WG1: Innovative Infrastructure and user behavior – How is your organization leveraging infrastructure to expand teaching and modify user behavior?
• WG2: Holistic campus planning and sustainable urban models – How is your organization demonstrating holistic campus planning and providing opportunities for using the campus as a test-bed for urban modeling?
• WG3: Sustainability skills and competencies – How is your organization integrating sustainability on campus to develop skills and impart guidance to faculty, staff and students?
Abstracts are due by February 26, 2016.
