The Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC) is bringing the second Leadership Lab to Cambridge University this July in partnership with PwC.
The two day event has an impressive line-up, including experts from Harvard University, PwC and the UK HE sector. This unique opportunity will see attendees advancing their leadership and organisational capabilities to help them embed sustainability at the highest level of their institution.
Developed by the Harvard programme the event will facilitate discussions between sustainability and institutional leaders to share, network and help identify and crystallise new ideas, methods and practices. The University of Cambridge hosting this event demonstrates the university’s commitment to creating a more sustainable future.
The EAUC delivery team currently comprises: Leith Sharp - Director of Executive Education for Sustainability Leadership, Harvard University; Wendy Purcell - EAUC Board Director/Trustee, Emeritus Professor and Visiting Scientist Harvard University; Iain Patton - EAUC CEO; Jane Davidson - EAUC Board Director/Trustee, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Engagement & Sustainability, University of Wales Trinity Saint David; Janet Haddock-Fraser - EAUC Board Director/Trustee and Chair in Sustainability and Leadership, Manchester Metropolitan University.
The Lab is a space for shared learning, trying out ideas and testing them on peers. It addresses the work of transforming long-standing organisational identity, culture, structures and processes to unleash new levels of engagement, change, innovation and agility - with a focus on sustainability and future-ready graduates. How can the tertiary education sector become as agile, innovative and change-capable as the world around it, while ensuring that human and planetary wellbeing is at the core of its mission and business? This training will equip attendees with the tools to form their own individual solution to this question.
