New commuting resources available

EAUC Scotland has published a new package of resources to support organisations in the post-16 education sector report on their staff and student commuting emissions.

The new resources contain:

• Comprehensive guidance on conducting commuting surveys from initial inception to analysis and reporting.

• A baseline commuting survey template in Microsoft Forms that can easily be duplicated and modified to your own organisation’s needs.

• A commuting emissions calculator tool and user guide for automating the data analysis process, and creating a simple and efficient results summary without the need for external consultants.

Created by EAUC Scotland, these resources in the pack align with the statutory requirements for the following frameworks, making them suitable for organisations throughout the UK and Ireland: 

- Scottish Government’s Public Bodies Climate Change Duties (PBCCD) reports
- Standardised Carbon Emissions Framework (SCEF) and
- Climate Action Roadmap for FE Colleges.
