USS: Step Up seeks to get the Universities Superannuation Scheme - the UK’s largest occupational pension fund with almost £50bn - to step up and show global leadership in responsible investment, particularly around the crucial issue of climate change.
On the 3rd December the decision makers at USS will meet with representatives from the institutions who are part of the scheme. On that day we want the scheme’s Trustees and Chief Investment Officer to agree to a meeting with members to discuss the risks posed to our pensions by climate change. Read more here.
You can help us achieve that in two ways:
1 – Get your institution’s representative to ask for the meeting with members.
2 – Come and join us for an hour or two on the morning of the 3rd December at the Bafta building in London.
Please contact George Hammond at ShareAction on 07894471837 for more details.
