As EAUC celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, so too does the Green Gown Awards.
The finalists of the 2024 UK and Ireland Green Gown Awards, delivered by EAUC in partnership with UKRI, have now been revealed.
The shortlist consists of 133 finalists from 84 institutions across the UK and Ireland.
Reflecting on this year's cohort of impressive finalists, Susan Simon, Environmental Sustainability Programme Director at UKRI, said:
“The Green Gown Awards are consistently demonstrating the commitment of the research community to tackling the impact of science on the environment. Each year we are presented with new, innovative and inspirational projects nominated for these awards. We look forward to following the progress of another exceptional set of projects tackling this important global issue.”

Finalists are now invited to submit their Stage 2 submissions now.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh on Wednesday 13 November. Early bird tickets for the ceremony are available to book now.
