Providing level 1 procurement training under the UK Government’s Flexible Framework (9.45am - 2pm)

Following the launch of the UK Government's Procuring the Future - Sustainable Procurement Action Plan in June 2006, the profile of sustainable procurement has never been higher. In the report, the Task Force challenges the UK Governments and the public sector to support the UK in becoming a leader on sustainable procurement by 2009.

Tough new targets have been introduced which will allow organisations to benchmark performance and measure progress. These training sessions will support and enable participants to procure more sustainably, introducing the latest thinking on sustainable procurement in a practical way aimed at stimulating action and informing the further development of the procurement profession. Training is provided by the EAUC in Scotland and is delivered by a CIPS qualified procurement practitioner working in the Further Education sector in England, Patrick Condon.

Level 1 Training objectives include:

  • Embarking towards level 1 on the Flexible Framework.
