This is a joint presentation by the Carbon Trust and the GLA to convey the urgency of the Mayor of London’s target goal of Net Zero by 2030. The GLA will be hosting an online event on the 19th of September at 12pm-1pm. Guest speakers from The Carbon Trust/EAUC have been invited by the GLA to present a summary of their findings on a recently published Net Zero Carbon report authored by the Carbon Trust. This webinar indicates an estimated cost of decarbonising FE estates across London along with identifying progress, gaps and investments needs amongst FE colleges.
The webinar will give a brief overview of the aim of the study, the approach/methodology that was followed to derive the estimated figures and a summary of key findings and recommendations. The Carbon Trust will provide attendees the opportunity for a short Q&A session on the report. In addition, GLA leads from the environment and climate change team will also give a brief overview of funding opportunities available at the GLA.
