BSI & EAUC - Target Setting on the Journey to Net Zero

Through partnership, EAUC and BSI have the following aim:

To address carbon reductions through to net zero credibly for the education sector through a standardised approach to developing targets that are science  aligned, and to verification and validation to ensure accuracy and transparency, through: 

• introduction to BSI’s science aligned net zero framework, to drive target setting and reductions (based on data verification and IWA42 Guidelines)
• roll-out and use of BSI's framework by EAUC members and signatories of the Race to Zero for Universities and Colleges
• annual audit to ensure satisfactory progress and that net zero timeline is not missed
