LiFE Framework: Procurement and Supplier Engagement

The training will help staff and students within Students' Unions to develop a detailed understanding of sustainable procurement and the benefits of an ambitious but achievable plan to take sustainable procurement forward in a Student Union context.

Why should I attend?
This will enable delegates to speak confidently about how sustainability relates to procurement and where it aligns and supports broader institutional commitments. The session will be very interactive and be drawn from leading practice on sustainable procurement nationally and internationally.

What key outcomes will I take from this training?
•  A shared understanding of sustainability and sustainable procurement
•  To understand where the opportunities are to integrate sustainability into supplier engagement and contract management
•  Develop an understanding of the role of procurement in delivering positive sustainability outcomes for a Student Union

Who is this training for?
This training has been tailored specifically for Students' Unions and both staff and students, who are involved in a Students' Union, are welcome.

This training is limited to 13 places.
