This workshop will provide a comprehensive introduction to the
challenge and opportunities associated with implementing
sustainable procurement within your institution. The day includes input from a number of practitioners as well as drawing on the
extensive experience gathered as part of the EAUC Sustainable
Procurement Project.
Sessions will focus on the practical steps needed to implement
sustainable procurement and provide guidance on how you can get started within your institution.
The workshop will help you understand how sustainable procurement can contribute to the environmental performance of your institution and demonstrate to staff and students the institutional commitment to tackling issues such as climate change.
This workshop is being run in partnership with Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC).
