CaSPr's Strategic Development Topic Support Network to be held on the 26 July at the University of St Andrews when a number of sustainability issues of strategic significance to the sector will be discussed with a particular focus on two important elements of CaSPr for which the Network has responsibility:
Anyone with an interest in strategic sustainability issues in the sector - particularly those with an interest in benchmarking and or the proposed climate change declaration is welcome at this event.
We have e-mailed this invitation to people who have said already that they want to be involved with the work of the Strategic Development Network and to those who attended CaSPr Support Workshops or the Performance workshop. For reference, a list of those we have invited is attached at the end of the flyer. Please pass the invitation to others that you think might be interested. But note that to get a balance in the discussion and to keep the size manageable we are limiting institutions to a maximum of two places.
For further information contact either one of the CaSPr consultants (details below booking form) or, (after 20 July) speak to the Coordinator of the Strategic Development Network Roddy Yarr, Environment Manager with the University of St Andrews.
- A review of different benchmarking and reporting systems e.g.BiTC, ISO14001, AccountAbility; and
- The development of a Climate Change Declaration (similar to that developed for Local Authorities).
