Environmental values of green walls (exchange)

A short talk on the environmental values of urban green walls focusing on the animal biodiversity, air quality (PM pollution), building insulation (thermal, noise and light) and human well-being.

This was a live webinar which took place on the 15 November 2012. We have recorded this webinar for you and made the presentation and a number of other resources available to you, which you will find below. 

The presentation lasted for 25 minutes and was followed by 5 minutes of questions. 

It was presented by Caroline Chiquet from the Institute for Environment Sustainability and Regeneration at Staffordshire University. It is based on a PhD project currently running at the University.
 

The data from the project comes from different types of green walls (self-climbing walls and different commercial living walls systems) based on different sites in UK (Staffordshire University campus, Staffordshire, Birmingham, London, etc).
