As you may know, key members of the SDE Community in Scotland are involved in the planning and set up of a Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) in Scotland for Sustainable Development Education. As the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development reaches its final stages, it’s time to explore the idea of what happens beyond 2014 and it is felt that the creation of our very own RCE is part of the legacy from the UN Decade.
The SDE Network and EAUC are hosting an RCE discussion and Q&A session with Prof. Charles Hopkins (UNESCO) on Friday 20 July, 1.30 – 3.30pm at The Scottish Storytelling Centre, Edinburgh.
This is a FREE event – open to our members only and places are very limited. If you would like to come along and find out more about the value of a Regional Centre for Excellence in Scotland as well as learn how you can be more involved in helping to shape it please complete the form attached and email back to ahenderson@eauc.org.uk by Wednesday 18 July.
