Improve your Institution's Capacity
To ensure your institution has the capacity and drive to embed sustainability, this event is ideal to get your colleagues up to speed on the issues of sustainability to really get your institution moving forward. Here are some testimonials from institutions that have sent several colleagues to previous events:
"The Leaders of the Future sustainability programme is one of the most stimulating courses I have been on [ever]. Following on, not only have we developed embedded lessons for learners but we have reviewed all our policies and procedures [and practices]. We have made savings and we are now much more in touch with our social responsibility. The trainers, colleagues and venue have led to peer relationships - overall an enlightning and highly recommended experience on which I am now placing further staff" - Neale Johnson, Doncaster GTA
“This year I have initiated a process to develop Sustainability Leaders in key areas of the college who will take responsibility for embedding sustainability into the curriculum and/or operations in each area. The Leaders of the Future programme is an ideal vehicle to build individuals’ capacity to drive change within their areas. Jane, who attended the November workshop, has already started implementing the plans put in place at the end of the 2-day event.” - Esin Esat, Bedford College
