Yvonne Rowse, Senior Environmental Consultant at ECUS will be spearheading this event.

This three day residential IEMA-approved EMS implementation course is designed to equip you with all the information you need to go away and implement to the EMS ISO14001 standard.

The course introduces you to key pieces of legislation which are essential as environmental legal compliance is a cornerstone to any EMS, and certification to ISO14001 and other related standards will not be achieved without it.

The course goes on to follow ECUS’ recommended approach to implementing an EMS and ensures that delegates leave feeling more confident about running or implementing an EMS.

In particular, focus will be on:

  • Aspects, impacts and significance rating
  • Operational control
  • Introduction to auditing
  • Emergency procedures.

This course is suitable for:

  • Beginners to EMS implementation
  • Those changing roles (e.g. health and safety to environment)
  • Those who have not run or been involved in an EMS for some time and may need some revision
  • Those experienced in EMS implementation and want to access a new approach to it
