A comprehensive half-day event delivered by Jimmy Brannigan, Director of ESD Consulting Ltd.

Engaging with students is often seen as challenging and difficult. This workshop will explore innovative techniques to engaging with students on Sustainable Development drawing on a range of approaches which have been successful in universities and colleges.

Students can be key advocates for sustainability across the campus and within the local community and the workshop will explore how the institution can build this relationship with the students and create sustainability champions. At the end of the workshop, participants will have developed an action plan for student engagement to enhance their current activity.

This event will also feature a case study from Sheri-Leigh Miles who worked at the University of Bradford with Ecoversity. Sheri-Leigh will look at Engaging students as part of a whole institution approach to sustainability.
