The event will provide an opportunity for you to:
- Learn how FHE institutions are Greening their ICT Network systems.
- Hear from a Welsh FE college whose “gigabit to the edge project” has improved the overall efficiency of their network system.
- Learn how a West Midlands college has reduced its ICT system’s carbon footprint through the use of solar energy and how its ICT staff are continuing to green their Network systems.
- Hear about the University of Leeds’, “INTelligent Energy awaRE NETworks” project that is enabling growth of ICT networks while at the same time reducing energy consumption.
- Hear from a CISCO Systems representative how current technologies are reducing the environmental impact of Network systems.
- Network with peers from other universities and colleges who are experiencing similar problems managing their Network systems and learn how they are tackling them.
