The Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges is committed to bringing leading edge thinking to the sector and the institutions it supports. This FREE workshop aims to challenge and support institutions on the sustainability journey and launch the joint working of institutions in Northern Ireland and the EAUC.

The workshop will draw on a range of experience from both the areas of sustainability in business as well teaching learning with an added international dimension with input and insights from our colleagues in Australia. The workshop will examine the people dimension, looking at staff and student engagement whilst also exploring the institutions relationship with partners, employers and society. We know the urgency of the carbon reduction challenge but we should not lose sight of the purpose of learning institutions and their huge contribution to society. In these challenging economic times, this workshop will ask and explore how learning institutions celebrate and enhance their contribution to sustainability and creating more sustainable societies.

Objectives

  • Develop a shared understanding of what a NetPostive institution and NetPostive Leadership looks like
  • Explore the role of colleagues and students in making sustainability happen within your institution
  • Develop your plans for taking sustainability forward within your institution
  • Network with colleagues who are on the same journey

This workshop has limited availability so book early to avoid disappointment!
