Course Aim:
The aim of this one day event is to help institutions embed sustainability into their purchasing practice using the Government’s Flexible Framework as a guide and monitoring tool. The day will be made up of interactive sessions focusing on an action plan to implement Levels 1 & 2 of the Framework. It will discuss tools, practical examples and tips to help turn this action plan into reality.Audience:

- Setting sustainable procurement priorities through spend and supplier analysis;
- Undertaking Whole Life Costing analysis;
- Adopting ‘quick wins’;
- Applying sustainability criteria to contracts;
- Implementing a supplier engagement programme; and
- Measuring and monitoring sustainable procurement practice.
