The UK and Ireland Green Gown Awards recognise, celebrate and showcase exceptional sustainability initiatives from universities, colleges and other post-16 institutions across the UK and Ireland.
Established in 2004, the awards have become one of the most prestigious recognitions of leading sustainability practice within the further and higher education sector.
The awards are delivered by EAUC and governed by a steering group made up of organisations across post-16 education.
Who can apply?
The awards are open to any post-16 education establishment in the UK and Ireland.
Eligible institutions include, but are not limited to:
Colleges, including sixth forms and further education
Universities, including conservatoires
Adult learning providers
Technical or research institutions
Learning and skills institutions
Entry is free of charge with a suggested donation of £150 if your institution is able to contribute.
If your institution is not based in the UK and Ireland, you can apply through the Australasia or International programmes.
