06/06/13 - 7th World Environmental Education Congress

The Platform for Sustainability Performance in Education attended the 7th World Environmental Education Congress in Morocco on 9-14 June 2013.

With over 2,800 participants from 105 countries attending, Iain Patton (CEO, EAUC, UK and promoting the LiFE tool) and Jean-Christophe Carteron (promoting the Green Plan tool) joined the group as UNEP affiliated participants. The Congress was also attended by HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa from Morocco, the UNEP Executive Director and the UNESCO Director General.

There were two UNEP related side events planned - MESA and GUPES - where Iain and Jean-Christophe provided an update on the progress of the Platform for Sustainability Performance in Education.
