The Retrofit Accelerator Workplaces programme (also referred to as RE:FIT) is an award-winning tried and tested programme used to help make London's non-domestic public buildings and assets more energy efficient, lowering emissions and saving public money on energy spending. The Accelerator helps a range of organisations including Universities, Colleges, London boroughs and NHS bodies to implement retrofit projects.
The programme has a dedicated programme delivery unit, who are an expert team providing free end-to-end support needed to get projects up, running and successfully implemented. The programme also uses an easy to use RE:FIT framework of energy service companies, which saves time and resources for organisations that are procuring retrofit services which - as an energy performance contracting framework - guarantees energy and cost savings.
