In partnership with EAUC, NUS is hosting the 3rd annual gathering of students and officers taking action on sustainability and social justice.
The Summit will equip you to put sustainability at the heart of your students’ union’s core purpose over the year ahead.
This one-day event of talks, workshops and networking will help you to gain new skills and connect with other officers and students to take action on issues like curriculum reform, divestment, sustainable food, climate justice and so much more.
There are three concurrent workshops in the morning, and three more in the afternoon, with a keynote at the start of the day, and one more at the end. There is a long networking lunch, with tour of StuBrew (the students’ union’s own microbrewery) or a surgery on the new version of Green Impact Students’ Union
The six workshops are:
• Getting your institution’s money out of dirty fossil fuels
• Careers- a pathway to a sustainable future?
• Turning volunteers into voters - linking our sustainability volunteering to civic engagement
• Making money doing good - student enterprise and ethical procurement on campus
• Running a great sustainability campaign
• Shaping our education for a just and sustainable future
You can see the full agenda and register here.
Registration is now open, the deadline is 31st October.
The delegate fee for this event is £25.
