How to Write Right is a one day workshop run by experienced broadcast journalist and producer Mairi Damer, which encourages trainees to think differently about how they write.
Whether it’s writing for websites, blogs or social media, or crafting copy for leaflets, newsletters, menus, publicity or promo material, this workshop will teach you how to write right.
Using a series of practical exercises, the workshop will show you how to add some snap, crackle and sparkle to your written words. It will help throw out bad habits and jargon, work out who you are writing for and how best to catch their eye.
This is a full-day event, with catering provided. Spaces are strictly limited, so you are advised to secure your place as soon as possible.
