The EAUC has been working with AUDE and Oxford Brookes University to develop an event that will give you the chance to explore and discuss the revised clauses of the new ISO 14001 standards and what they will mean for you and your institution.
The event will be hosted on the 6th of November at Oxford Brookes University and will be led by Martin Baxter, Chief Policy Advisor for IEMA. Martin has been working as the primary contact for the ISO 14001 revision process and has kindly agreed to discuss the revised clauses with attendees of this event.
The agenda for the day will be:
10:30-11:00 - Arrivals
11:00-12:30 - Presentation on the changes made in the new standard, followed by a question and answer session.
12:30-13:00 - Lunch (provided)
13:00-15:00 - Discussion of how universities can meet individual clause changes. The first part of this session will be in the format of a whole group discussion on key clause changes. The second part will provide an opportunity for other changes to be explored in smaller groups.
15:00-16:00 - Opportunity to tour the new John Henry Brookes Building.
Detailed joining instructions will be sent out to all attendees the week before the event.
We are delighted to announce that, thanks to the support of IEMA and Oxford Brookes University, this will be a free event open to members of the EAUC, AUDE, and the London Universities Environmental Group (LUEG).
Please advise at the time of booking if you have any special dietary requirements.
