UUCN and EAUC webinar: Assessing climate risk and strengthening resilience for UK Higher & Further Education Institutes

Context
In early March 2023, the UK Universities Climate Network (UUCN) released the most recent working paper and case studies in their net zero universities series focused on assessing climate risk and strengthening resilience for UK Higher & Further Education Institutions.

Authored by 19 experts from 13 UK Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), the working paper aims to support UK HE & FE Institutions to develop processes to assess their current and future climate risks, put in place plans to adapt to these risks, and identify opportunities to strengthen their resilience. The guidance is intended to support decision makers, senior leaders, sustainability practitioners and risk experts within HE & FE and identifies specific actions for key actors and communities. Although the focus is on HEIs, the recommendations and approaches covered are applicable to Further Education Institutions.

Join this UUCN and EAUC webinar to hear from authors of the working paper and case studies who will summarise key messages from the paper and reflect on learning from their own institutional journeys to a resilient net zero transition.
