If you turn on the news at the moment, you’re likely to hear something about the UN Global Climate Change conference COP26, where heads of state, climate experts and campaigners are coming together to agree coordinated action to tackle climate change. But what does that actually mean, and how will this year’s event help society to take more coordinated action to tackle climate change?
University of Hertfordshire are hosting a free conference for staff, students and members of the public to help unpack the key discussion points of COP26 and explore how we can work together to shape a better future for our planet. The conference spans 3 days (19th November 26th November and 3rd December), but you can book into specific sessions of your choice via the link below.
They are welcoming Herts academics, external speakers from NGOs, local councils and commercial brands to share their insights and perspectives around the areas of focus at COP26 and provide opportunities for thought provoking discussion and education.
