The event will be taking place in conjunction with the University of Edinburgh and will be introduced by Professor Peter Mathieson, Principal and Vice-Chancellor.
Sarah Breeden, the Bank of England's Executive Director for UK Deposit Takers Supervision and Executive Sponsor for Climate Change, will explain the importance of scenario analysis for understanding and measuring the financial risks to the system and lay out how we plan to proceed with the updated NGFS scenarios – initiatives which explore the transition and physical impacts of climate change under varying assumptions.
