EAUC Biodiversity Event – “Delivering biodiversity at universities and colleges”

This event will officially launch the new Biodiversity Guide and Biodiversity Community of Practice (CoP)

There will be a number of presentations and workshops throughout the day on managing and delivering biodiversity on campus, such as biodiversity monitoring across urban institutions and biodiversity strategy. See the programme below.

The day will include relevant sessions for sustainability professionals, estates managers, gardens and grounds managers, students' unions and students. There will also be a campus biodiversity tour.

A locally sourced menu will be provided for the day which uses herbs from the new herb garden on campus. The lunch is generously supported by SLR Consulting.

Please report to the St John's Campus reception on arrival.

Directions:
The St John's campus is 25-30 minutes’ walk from Worcester Foregate Street station. The numbers 31, 31B, and 31E Henwick Park Services operated by First Travel connect the St John's campus to all university campuses and to the city centre bus station.

Worcester is served by two train stations. Worcester Foregate Street is situated in the city centre and is a 25-30 minute walk from the university or 5 minutes by taxi. Worcester Shrub Hill is a 40-45 minute walk from the university or 10 minutes by taxi.
