CICS, a management systems certification and sustainability assurance provider, will be hosting a free webinar, ‘ISO 50001 - Implementing an Energy Management System - Why and How?’ on Friday 28 September at 11:00am (UK time)*.

Introduced in June 2011, ISO 50001, the new international energy management standard provides a framework and guidance for monitoring, managing and potentially reducing energy consumption.

The webinar will focus on why energy management is becoming a necessity as a result of rising energy costs and increased stakeholder interest in an organisation’s environmental impact, and will be of benefit to Energy Managers wishing to find out more about the new standard.
